The vascular flora of eighteen turf-banked solifluction lobes provide information on the relationship between solifluction and vegetation. Several botanical parameters, including coverage, species tolerance and community composition were documented and compared to the determined rates of mass wasting. Comparisons between the flora on the lobe deposits illustrated that the flora was relatively rich and, in general, quite similar from lobe to lobe. Despite these areal similarities, there was little evidence within the data collected to indicate whether the vegetation cover was affected or influenced the solifluction movements recorded.
